work is for jerks

Another early day out of the leaf. Sittin on the bud and wonder what to do. I think I will build something out of the wood I purchased the other day. I got Sweet Baby James on the turntable. It's perfect for a fall day like this. I need some cash so I am going through some stuff to sell. Everyone needs shit.
<---- Thats me dancing with my Aunt in the middle and her friend for years Angel. We won the dance-off for sure.

When it rains, it poors..

Two days removed from my travels I have regained some rest and i'm ready to do it all over again.
Sonny took all the pictures from the trip so I will have to swipe some off his blog after he posts them. For me it started Sunday morning with push-ups, crunchs, and chin-ups. I must look ridiculous exercising in my underwear, but it's so fucking hot. After a quick shower I hit the road on a quarter of a tank of gas. I'll make to Brewster, sure! No good tunes on the radio so I pop on "Beggars Banquet". When I crossed the canal the gas light comes and as usual I ignore it. I think I can make to the truck stop in Hyannis.(ext.6) Come exit 5 I really need to get gas and dont think I'll make to 6, damn it. There are no gas stations off the back-roads. Finally I found one in Yarmouth, well past Hyannis and real close to Brewster. I was determined to make high tide. I was late. Sonny gave me good directions and I made it. After a couple of hot dogs and a couple of beers I hit the beach. Mike and I where the first two in the water. The temperature must have been what felt like seventy degrees. Sonny and Becka grabbed the boogie boards and thier beers and joined the dead mans floaters.

Cramped in the Cold

So, what do I write in my first ever blog attack on the internet. Probably what I expect in this brand new year. Don't "they" say if you write down your dreams then they'll come true. I tend to believe that writing down your dream stops dejavu from happening. Who wants to do that, not me. Ever have dejavu when someone else is havong it too. I don't think they really were. Just saying it. Like a yes man.

Two of my best friends have moved out west. I miss them (I miss you Thayne and Kate). I don't miss many people. I miss most friends more than family though. I hope to save enough money by March to see of them, perhaps at the same time. San Deigo to San Fransisco. Taking a trip inside of a trip would be ideal for me. Rich will come with me. I believe we both are able to get two weeks off. He's a good traveling companion. A very open minded man. It has been three years now since I have traveled anywhere. eek! So little time and money, yet so many places to go.

In my life i've been in and around Denver,CO. Demark and up and down the east coast many times. I am dying to see the sunset over the ocean.

I am loving this jazz interplay record right now, Coltrane and Mal Waldron.
This weather and music makes me think of a lay-over in Cleveland,OH and watching the final four of March Maddness get underway. Don't ask me why.
